This week we will make chai tea (using rooibus so it's caffeine free and kids can try). The kids can learn about the different spices I use in my chai and maybe have a turn grinding the spices with the mortar and pestle. Feel free to bring your own mortar and pestle and if you don't drink cow's milk please bring your own milk.

Our Community Garden meet-ups are on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month.

The main goal for these meets is to learn more about permaculture gardening through volunteering in this beautiful space and to provide our kids the opportunity for free nature play. The gardens are a perfect place for kids to have that unstructured play time. We would also love to continue using these meets as a place to share skills like cooking, canning, trading food we've grown in abundance, fermenting and so on.
