This event is an annual group favourite!!
Kids/youth set up their market stalls and practice exchanging money with friends as they buy and sell from each other.
Max price of $5 per sale item.
This is not a public market and the goal is the experience of exchanging money so that's why we try to keep items as cheap as possible.
You can sell food, tickets for activities, handmade items, pre-loved goods or whatever you think of. Stalls have included: lemonade, cookies, carnival games, soup, pancakes, corn on the cob, a photo booth, chess matches, jewelry, slime.... and more.
We will set up at the Robert Bell Rotunda area and around it. (You will have to walk your things in so perhaps consider binging a wagon. Bring whatever you need for your stall... I don't think we need gazebos as the area has a fair bit of shade and council was specific about gazebos needing to be properly tied down.
We'll begin set up from 10am with the goal of starting at 10:30 and wrapping up around 2pm.
