Come and join us exploring and walking in nature!
This month we're going on a short night walk to spot moths and other nocturnal bugs.
Please join us for a picnic dinner on the lawn before this walk at 5pm. Bring your own picnic, drinks and rug. I’ve created a seperate event with details.
We’ll meet outside the botanical gardens cafe for this walk. We’ll chat about the difference between a butterfly and moth, and create some fun paper moths. Once it’s dark, we’ll head off on a short walk along the garden paths, looking for night bugs.
Bring along:
Comfortable shoes
Water bottle
Torch
Magnifying glass/bug viewer
Parents are responsible for the safety of their own children, and need to be present with their children during this activity.
