A team from the Australian Bush Survival School is passing through Mackay and they have offered to run a workshop for us!

This family workshop for adults and kids will cover bush tucker and medicinal/useful plants, fire by friction, spear/woomera throwing, and string making amongst other Australian Survival related activities.

Pricing:

Adult - $25

Child (u/18) - $15

Duration - 2.5 hours

I'm hoping we have enough interest to run 2 sessions on the day:

Session 1: Younger kids 9:30am-12:00pm

Session 2: Older kids 12:30pm-3:00pm

Paul and Holly recommend doing the course alongside your kids as it's interesting for adults too. Younger children (kindy age) are also welcome if you feel they would enjoy this workshop.

Please comment with how many you would like to book in and their ages (e.g. 1 adult, children 12, 8, 5).

Payment is cash on the day. I'll be there half an hour before the workshops start to sign you in and collect payment.

Meet at the South end of Lamberts beach near the reserve.
