This is a great opportunity for the kids/youth to share about a person they are interested in.
You can interview a family or community member, study an author of a favourite book or someone who inspires you past or present... anyone at all. You can share your biography through a visual project, art portrait or speech. Encouraging audience are also most welcome to come without a project to support those presenting.
Please bring a plate of food to share for afternoon tea.
Posters can be hung on the wall, or placed on tables around the room - we aim to have a project take up half a foldout table. The venue has tables.
Some ideas for presentations: your child can present their project with a speech or puppet show or dress up in character and act something out or get interviewed by a parent... anything really. Please keep presentations to a maximum of 2 mins. We have a microphone and speaker. They can also choose to display their project or art portrait and there's no pressure to present.
You are responsible for the safety and behaviour of yourself and your children. Please read through our group values and discuss these with your children.
