Let’s celebrate this year of homeschooling with an evening of friendship, laughter and good food. The beautiful lawns outside the Eimeo Surf Lifesaving Club are wonderfully shady and look out onto the ocean. We'll spread out our rugs and chairs across the grass, and we can set up games on the beach.

CONCERT

3-5pm

An opportunity for children to showcase something they have been working on during the year through a performance. It could be a dance, performing a piece of music, reciting a poem, gymnastics routine, sharing jokes… Performances should be under 3 mins. A small stage area will be set up on the grass under the trees at the north end of the SLS club.

I will have the following equipment available to use:

⁃ Wireless microphone

⁃ Speaker (can play music from your device via Bluetooth, has 2 inputs)

⁃ Digital piano

Please let me know in the comments section if your child would like to perform. You're welcome to come as a spectator, or drift in during the afternoon to watch some items before the party starts.

PARTY

5-7.30pm

Potluck dinner - bring a plate to share. Please provide serving spoon/tongs, and a label to name your plate, and indicate if gf/df/v (gluten free/dairy free/vegetarian).

A cash bar is available at the Surf lifesaving club.

You are welcome to bring beach games e.g. cricket, volleyball, frisbee.

GRADUATION

It would be lovely to do something special for children graduating from primary school or high school (eg gr 6 or gr 12). If you would like to mark this occasion, I’ll start a discussion in the comment section about this.
